Spalter Select Hop is characterized by a subtle and elegant aroma profile. It combines spicy herbal aromas with fine floral and lightly fruity nuances, reminiscent of grass, hay, and a hint of citrus.
Spalter Select Hops: Aroma in Cold-Hopped Beer
Spalter Select Hop has herbal and floral, as well as earthy aromas, which it imparts to the beer. It is also considered one of the high-quality aroma varieties with a medium bitterness level and a very good aroma profile. In beer, the Select is characterized by a pleasantly harmonious bitterness of medium intensity. Its aroma is hoppy, but also fruity and floral, both in the scent and in the taste.
