Origin: Hop Research Center Hüll.

Smaragd hops are characterized by a complex aroma profile, featuring fruity, herbal, and floral nuances. Notable are the notes of lemon, honeydew melon, berries, and a subtle herbal spiciness. It also has a resinous/woody aroma reminiscent of pine and leather. 

Smaragd hops creates a harmonious flavor profile with its fresh and spicy notes, complemented by fruity and floral accents. It is increasingly used to add a refreshing aromatic dimension without overpowering the hop character.
